Dori’s World: Art Basel Begins
Art Basel is in full swing! I started the day at the Setai pool with Lisa Ruben, her mother, and then we met up with Ali Kay and her baby and enjoyed some gazpacho soup.
Eventually Lesley Thompson Vecsler and I headed over to the Rubell Collection to see Michelle and Jason Rubell. They always have such amazing art!
There were great installations there and the energy was great. At the party were Kinga and Eddie Lampert, Barbara and Gary Siegler, Elsa Benitez, Rob Vescler, Lawrence Altman, Sara and Ugo Colombo, and Steve Clark.
Then we went off to the White Cube party. The stone crabs were divine, and there was entertainemtn on the beach being enjoyed by guests like Nicole Miller, Andre Balasz, Lady Victoria Hervey and Kamal Hotchandani. On the way out we grabbed pizza at Ciccones and met up with friend who were coming from the Swarovski party at the Delano. It was a fun day and night and a perfect start to Art Basel!
