After an eight-month extensive renovation, luxury brand Dior re-opened its 5,000-square-foot on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.
On Thursday, French fashion house Dior debuted its newly renovated Rodeo Drive boutique, which has a gray color scheme and includes five rooms on the first floor, including specific space for the brand’s signature handbags and lace-covered pumps. There is also a ready-to-wear salon with a fireplace and sating area, as well as a separate fine jewelry room. On the upper level, there is a VIP salon featuring pieces from Raf Simons’ first two collections.
The interior was designed by Peter Marino who incorporated a design concept similar to that seen in Dior’s worldwide flagship store in Paris on Avenue Montaigne. According to the Los Angeles Times, there are “18th-century furnishings and fixtures mixed with contemporary art” commissioned by Dior. Special pieces by several artists are featured in the boutique, including a Rob Wynne mirror glass installation in the handbag area and two glass sculptures by Jeff Zimmerman in the shoe salon.
For the Rodeo Drive re-opening, several special accessories were created, including a gold cuff made from a cluster of stars.
The boutique is located at 309 North Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.
