News | September 24, 2012

Moscow’s Tsaritsino Museum is exhibiting the largest private collection of works by French sculptor August Rodin.

Primarily displayed in the museum’s halls of the Bread House, the exhibition features 175 works of art, including etching, sketches, photographs and sculptures. The display includes the four most well known pieces by the artist, “The Burghers of Calais”, “Thinker,” “Kiss” and the monument to Honore de Balzac. It is the first time such a large-scale Rodin exhibition has been held in Moscow.
