Star-studded NYC Ballet 2012 Fall Gala Celebrates Valentino

The New York City Ballet was held over the weekend and legendary designer Valentino was honored at the event in front of Hollywood elite and icons from the fashion industry. The evening also celebrated Valentino’s collaboration with the ballet.

Celebrities and fashion insiders such as Anne Hathaway, Anjelica Huston, Carolina Herrera, Diane von Furstenberg, Barry Diller, Daphine Guinness and Sarah Jessica Parker were in attendance.

Valentino designed costumes for three of the ballets and guests enjoyed a tribute short film by Meryl Street, Claire Danes and Hugh Jackman that included Valentino, New York City Ballet Master Peter Martins and the dancers working together.

Additional guests included Marcia and Richard Mishaan, Ashley McDermott, Princess Firyal of Jordan and Lynn Wyatt.

Following the ballets, dinner was served followed by dessert, a champagne toast and a fashion show.
