Top Chef Just Desserts Winner Yigit Pura Opens Up Tout Sweet in Union Square

Nothing says indulgence like cake for breakfast.  Isn’t a muffin just a more undressed cupcake?  Either way, Top Chef Just Desserts winner, Yigit Pura has opened up Tout Sweet Patisserie for handle both your breakfast and dessert needs.  Whether it’s the savory Ham and Cheese “Pop Tarts” to a rainbow of marshmallows in flavors like rum and coconut “Tipsy” and passion fruit “Tesla” to accompany some coffee, Tout Sweet boasts a unique menu for weary shoppers in Union Square.  It’s tucked inside the 3rd floor of the massive Macy’s in Union Square.  But enough chit chat, let’s take a look at some of the signature creations Yigit is known for.

No proper sweet shop could be without the colorful macaron.  Instead of just simply calling them whatever flavor they are, Yigit cheekily names them like Chloe (a spicy dark chocolate), Ken (passion fruit and milk chocolate), or Sherry (strawberry and red licorice).

Tout Sweet – the namesake chocolate cake with its layers of chewy milk jam and chocolate mousse will melt away anyone’s troubles.

The Tesla – named after the brilliant inventor, this is Yigit’s personal favorite with it’s tart yuzu-lemon-passion-fruit flavors.
