Prism by Keiichi Matsuda Opens at London Design Week
Friday, September 14 marks the beginning of one of the most important events on the international design calendar; The London Design Festival. And while there will be many events, exhibitions and madcap parties all over the city, one of the installations getting the most buzz is from London-based designer, digital artist and filmmaker Keiichi Matsuda’s Prism. Commissioned by Veuve Clicquot, Matsuda’s prism will live in the Victoria & Albert museum’s Ceramics galleries (where else?). The massive glowing installation is likened to a brightly-colored lantern and is best taken in from the nearby staircases, which have never previously been open to the public.
