One of Hollywood’s grand mansions, the Fuller House, has been listed for $4.895 million. Located just off Franklin near Runyon Canyon, the home was built in 1916 and designed by Arthur S. Heineman.
The home has a long history with Hollywood greats, including RE Fuller, whom the home was originally built for. Fuller is credited with developing this area of Hollywood and the adjacent Fuller Street was actually named after him. The home was designed by Arthur S. Heineman, who is credited with inventing the motel and designing mansions and bungalows around Sothern California with his brother Alfred. Samuel Goldwyn, cofounder of Paramount Pictures and Goldwyn Pictures (now MGM), lived in the home with his second wife, actress Frances Howard around 1925.
The current owner is believed to be Japanese producer, Takashige Ichise, who is known for films such as The Ring and The Grudge.
The estate, which sits on nearly three-quarters of an acre and features seven bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms, a screening room, a breakfast room, Batchelder tile fireplaces, a pool, an outdoor living room, a guesthouse, a dining room with butler’s pantry, a sun room and landscaped gardens.
