Haute Event: Champalimaud and Holland Evening Garden Launch Party

Last week an elite group of New Yorkers gathered in a private sculpture garden on Elizabeth street in downtown Manhattan to celebrate the launch of interior design firm Champalimaud and Holland’s first fabric line The Comptoirs Collection. Developed in partnership with luxury textile purveyor Holland & Sherry, the line features the finest and most luxurious indoor/outdoor fabric available.

Hosted by Alexandra Champalimaud and Bryan Dicker, the launch party was held at the private Elizabeth Street Garden, adjacent to the newly opened Holland & Sherry Bespoke store. Upon entry to the lantern lit garden, guest were able to touch and feel samples of fabric hanging from the branches of the tree canopy, available for the taking. In another corner, a florist offered custom-made fabric and wild flower corsages. Parisian mixologists from the Experimental Cocktail Club were on hand to create custom cocktails for the guests as they mingled the event.

Notable guests included: Alexandra Champalimaud, DJ Jonathan Toubin, textile designer John Robshaw, Gilt Home’s Tom Delevan, designer Todd Oldham, designer Nathan Turner, architect Peter Guzy, Samantha Lim, Lorna Solano, Sarah White, Michael Colgan, Natasha Zellar, Vogue’s Selby Drummond, Stephen Dizard, Designer Michael Ellison and many more.

The party continued after hours at Amy Sacco’s new nightclub No.8, sponsored by Vintage and Mondern.
