Christie’s New York Important Watches Auction Totals $8.5 Million

Yesterday, June 13, Christie’s held the Important Watches sale in New York to record breaking numbers. The sale culminated at $8,495,988.

The highlight of the auction was the Patek Philippe two-crown world-time Ref. 2523/1, which set a world record at $1,022,500. This record-setting amount is the highest ever paid for any timepiece sold at any Christie’s sale in America.
