A rare Patek Philippe timepiece is headlining today’s auction at Christie’s New York.
The incredible piece is from the post-war Sleeping Beauty series. The Ref. 2523 was introduced in 1953 to a less than enthusiastic audience, many who considered its intricate face too hard to read and its price point excessive. Now, it’s a vintage collector’s dream.
