Haute Fashion Daily: The Devil Wears Prada Sequel Confirmed for 2013
Lauren Weisberger, author of The Devil Wears Prada, has just announced that she will be releasing a sequel to the best-selling book in 2013 titled Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns.
Published by HarperCollins in the United Kingdom next April, the new book is set eight years after the first. Andy Sachs, the main character is now a bridal magazine editor and her path crosses with former boss Miranda Priestly. The Devil Wears Prada was under a multi-book deal, however until now there was no word on whether Weisberger would actually write a sequel to the book, which also did extraordinarily well as a movie.
Lynne Drew, HarperFiction publishing director, said, “I’m thrilled to be once more encountering the world of glossy mags, Miranda Priestly and our favorite heroine, with a novel set to be one of the big summer reads of 2013.”
