The Los Angeles Arts District has just received a new gastropub called Eat.Drink.Americano, which opened on 3rd street in the place of the former Café Metropole.

Designed in an industrial style with plenty of exposed brick, wooden chairs and tables, a wine bottle chandelier, a massive chalkboard wall and candles in Mason jars, Eat.Drink.Americano has a menu filled with tasty dishes like duck and pickles that features duck terrine in a jar coated with a layer of fat and accompanied by house made pickled cucumbers, carrots and onions. Also on the menu created by Chef Juan Pablo Torre is black cod tempura, king crab cannelloni, oxtail burgers, red Alaskan salmon cream cheese and poached egg flatbread and steak tartare. Chef Torre created the menu to include as much locally sourced ingredients as possible.

Eat.Drink.Americano is located at 923 E. 3rd Street in Los Angeles
