Haute Fashion Daily: Christian Louboutin Glass Slipper Released in Conjunction with Disney’s Diamond Edition of ‘Cinderella’

Disney is coming out with a Diamond Edition of the classic children’s movie ‘Cinderella’ and to celebrate the occasion, Christian Louboutin has designed a glass slipper that will coincide with the film’s re-release.

Disney’s Diamond Edition of ‘Cinderella’ will be available in the fall and will include two Blu-Ray discs and a DVD with bonus features. The animated film was originally released back  in 1950.

Louboutin said, “I have been so lucky to have crossed paths with Cinderella, an icon who is so emblematic to the shoe world as well as the dream world.”

Of course, Louboutin’s signature red sole will be incorporated into the design of the glass slippers, which have not yet been priced.
