Andrea Bertolini Has Officially Driven Every F1 Ferrari
Andrea Bertolini works at Scuderia Ferrari on car development and is a driver in the GT races; consequently, Bertolini has been behind the wheel of every F1 Ferrari.
Andrea Bertolini has any petrolhead’s dream job: he works at Scuderia Ferrari on car development and is a driver in the GT races. He has an F1 super license and enjoys test-driving the privately-owned historic single-seaters that are looked after by Ferrari’s F1 Clienti department.
On several occasions, Bertolini has had the unique privilege of driving almost all of Ferrari’s Formula 1 cars around the Fiorano test track, which is across the street from the factory. On April 18, however, Bertolini drove the only Ferrari Grand prix car that he had never been behind the wheel of, the 312T4 that was driven by Gilles Villeneuve in 1979; the same year that he and Jody Scheckter gave Ferrari the Constructor’s title and Scheckter went on to take the Drivers’ championship. This auto, the chassis No. 41, is now a part of Jonathan Giacobazzi’s Donelli Vini collection.
