In the past, Barrett Jackson has been known for auctioning off numerous classic cars, from some of the sleek to swanky, but never has a submarine been a part of one of their auctions. But its official Barrett Jackson Palm Beach auction kicks off their auction from April 5 to 7th with a 1988 Kittredge K350 1ATM submarine, specially designed and tested by George Kittredge. The submarine is 14 feet tall, with the cruising speed of 1 knot. Performance wise, the submarine features 3 12-volt DC propulsion motors, 8 105 amp/hr deep cycle marine batteries, and has successfully made over 100 dives, ideally for recreation. Also, in order to transport and launch the submarine, it comes along with a custom tandem trailer, making this a must-see.
