Piazzetta Marketplace and Restaurant Brings Wine, Pizza and More to Acqualina Resort & Spa

Acqualina Resort & Spa, a luxurious Sunny Isles retreat, is adding an element of casual chic to its sophisticated reputation. The resort recently opened Piazzetta, an Italian restaurant and marketplace for guests to enjoy a taste of Italy while overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Piazzetta is set in an open-styled indoor structure, features wines, olive oils, brick-oven pizzas, light meals, caviar, and specialty coffees.

Acqualina has gone above and beyond the call of duty to provide luxurious but comfortable décor for the Piazzetta marketplace. The indoor table and lounge are set on beautiful hardwood tables. Calacatta gold marble dining tables allow guests to experience a bit of the wonder and wealthy of Italy. The marketplace includes a gelato bar for guests wanting sweet treats.

Dining options are varied at Piazzetta. There are dine-in and take-out options, as well as the option to buy prepackaged sauces for cooking at home. The wine corner offers a variety of different vintages, although the primary focus is on private vintages, which allows for guests to try unusual and rare wines.
