The West Hollywood Library will be hosting this year’s annual L.A. Women’s International Film Festival from March 24-29 in the library’s Community Meeting Room. Funded in part by a grant from the Los Angeles Arts and Cultural Affairs Commission, the event is produced annually by the Alliance of Women Filmmakers.
To mark the end of Women’s History Month, the Los Angeles Women’s International Film Festival will take place in the West Hollywood Library from March 24 through 29. Each year the Alliance of Women Filmmakers, a nonprofit organization established to empower women filmmakers, produces the event that showcases films from all genres that have been produced by women from around the world.
This year’s event will include a filmmaker symposium featuring distribution and finance workshops from Warner Bros Business Resource Groups, Women of Warner and Black Employees of Warner Bros.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday and 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Admission costs $10 and guests can park in the nearby West Hollywood Park Parking Garage.
