The 2012 Leap Day gave people one extra day to make a crazy purchase in the month of February. And now that the month has passed, here are some of the most out-there purchases in the bunch, according to Business Insider.

At a charity auction, a woman spent over $42,000 for her husband to meet Knicks player Jeremy Lin. The lucky man also got to sit in the 11th row at a Knicks game and took home the jersey that Jeremy Lin wore during that game

A rare edition of Ernest Hemingway’s first book, Three Stories & Ten Poems, published by Contact Publishing Co. in 1923, sold for $81,250 at Heritage Auctions’ Rare Book Signature® Auction. The book brought lots of enthusiasm amongst the bidders, which overall totaled a $736,000 sale.

An exclusive Ferrari GTO, one of 36 vintage GTO models produced by Ferrari between 1962 and 1963, was sold to a private buyer for $32 million. This makes it one of the most expensive cars ever sold.
