New York Fashion Week: Biker Chick Beauty At The Blonds

Always the most wild, over-the-top show of New York Fashion Week, design duo The Blonds showcased a biker chick inspired collection complete with a Tron-like motorbike on the runway.

Favorites of Britney Spears, Katy Perry and Beyonce, The Blonds are known for their elaborate costume pieces. This edgy season, the collection featured corsets made from what looked like shards of glass, strands of chains and crystals and tight embellished racing suits. The models all wore helmets with long blond ponytails in the back for a severely tough look.

Never a detail too small, The Blonds’ runway shows always feature the most out-of-this-world nail art. CND’s Kristina Estabrooks and her team spent 130 hours hand detailing biker babe manicures. No nail set was alike – crystals, glitter, leather, Phillipe Blond faces, crushed glass shards and acid washed denim designs were just a few of the styles to grace the runway. 

The not to be missed show was attended by Cassie, Adam Lambert and his boyfriend Sauli Koskinen and none other than Lil Kim.
