Portuguese furniture designer Boco do Lobo has created Heritage Sideboard to honor the hand-painted tiles famous in Portugal featuring various layers, each telling a different story.

After receiving huge success with their Heritage Cabinet, Boco do Lobo has created a Limited Edition Heritage Sideboard made from Portuguese hand-painted tiles. Throughout the sideboard’s many layers, different tiles were inspired by various periods of Portuguese history and taken from historic buildings such as convents and old colleges.

On the interior of the sideboard there is a gold leaf layer, reminiscent of the ornaments and gold traditionally seen on the inside of historical buildings. The sideboard measure 162 cm by 90 cm with 50 cm in depth.

Boco do Lobo’s furniture often incites an emotional experience. The company explains that they strive to encourage “sensational experiences by creating beautiful pieces, which are passionately inspired and handcrafted in Portugal by a staff that loves what they do.
