Giorgio Armani can soon add residential designer to his resume. The fashion icon has been slated to design and furnish the World Towers residential complex. In an agreement with Gruppo Lodha—an Indian real estate developer—Armani will design and furnish the common areas and apartments in the complex.

The residences will be unveiled in 2015 in Upper Worli, a chic area in the center of Mumbai. Included will be World One, a 117-story skyscraper—which will snag the title as the world’s tallest residential tower—and World Crest, a shorter building. The residences will feature custom Armani Casa furniture. World Villas will boast private swimming pools and World Mansions—two-story flats—will feature private pools and gyms.
