The 15th anniversary of ArtPalmBeach opens tomorrow with “Behind the Lens of Willian John Kennedy” and “ModernMasters Serves it Rare”.

The 15th anniversary of ArtPalmBeach opens tomorrow with “Behind the Lens of Willian John Kennedy” and “ModernMasters Serves it Rare”.
The exhibitions provide a rare glimpse into the journey of Andy Warhol and Robert Indiana from before they were famous. Collaborative pieces from Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat will also be on display, among others.
With musical, pop cultural and racial undertones, the exhibition captures important moments in American contemporary art.
On January 19 the fair is open to VIPs and Press with a Collectors Invitation from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
On January 20 at 12:30 p.m. there will be a film screening of “Full Circle: Before They Were Famous,” a 40-minute documentary chronicling the journey of William John Kennedy’s images as they were brought to public view. The film also stars Robert Indiana, Ultra Violet (Warho’s muse), Taylor Mead and others.
On January 21 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. there will be a cocktail reception with contemporary masters Constance Edwards Scopelitis and Walter Knabe at Booth 417.
On January 22 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. there will be a presentation of Art Talk | Lecture Series on “Life with Warhol: Then and Now” with Art Economist’s Editor in Chief, Bruce Helander leading a discussion with Ultra Violet and Baby Jane Holzer.
ArtPalmBeach is located at Palm Beach Convention Center, 650 Okeechobee Boulevard, West Palm Beach.
For admission, if you purchase a one-day pass it’s $10 in advance or $15 at the door and a multi-day pass costs $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Children under the age of 12 who are accompanied by an adult can get in for free.
