Fighting Eel Opens Second Boutique in Kailua

Just in time for the holidays, the uber-popular — and local line — Fighting Eel opened its second boutique, this time in Kailua. And already it’s a hit with fashionistas on the windward side of Oahu.

The shop, which features its own unique line as well as other local designers, opened at the Kailua Town Center, as part of the third phase of Kaneohe Ranch’s redevelopment project.

While this location is similar to Fighting Eel’s flagship boutique in Chinatown, co-owners Lan Chung and Rona Bennett say it will have its own unique offerings including the Mini Eel line and children’s books and accessories.

Since 2003, Fighting Eel has become a must-have for fashionistas that love the line’s laid-back approach to fashion. Some of Hollywood’s top celebs — Kristin Cavallari, Paris Hilton, Eva Longoria, Ashley Greene — have been spotted wearing its looks.
