When you’re out doing your holiday shopping and feel the need to take a quick hot chocolate break, three New York City hotels that have exactly what you need to warm your bones and satisfy your craving.
Ace Hotel – Stumptown Coffee Roasters: Stumptown is a Portland, Oregon-based coffee purveyor that maintains a close relationship with farms and keeps exceptionally high standards for serving coffee. All the drinks here are consistently simple yet exquisite and the Stumptown Coffee Roasters location inside the Ace Hotel allows you to sip on a warm hot chocolate while enjoying the Manhattan streets.
Le Parker Meridian – The Knave: Located down a thin, semi-secret hallway with cathedral ceilings is a repurposed luxurious coffee and wine bar called The Knave. The place is known for its cappuccinos but their hot chocolates are also popular after a brisk walk through Central Park.
The Jane – Cage Gitane: This is a great place for thick hot chocolates that go for just $3.50. It is located downtown almost at the Hudson River inside The Jane’s French-styled Café Gitane.
