Mondrian Hotel to Open on Thames River in 2014

Morgans Hotel Group will be opening their fourth Mondrian Hotel on the South Bank of London’s Thames River in 2014.  The hotel development group has Mondrian locations in the works in the Bahamas and Qatar as well.

Some details have been revealed about the London location in the works and they are as follows: this location will be 100 rooms larger than the recently opened New York location; 360 rooms in total.  It will contain a rooftop bar with amazing, unobstructed views of the Thames.  Finally, the building’s owner, Jonathan Ofer, promises that this installment of the brand already known for its whimsical and contemporary design, will be very, very  special and Morgans Group was specifically selected as the operator to ensure it stands out.
