Bruce Springsteen Demands Removal from Connolly’s Lawsuit
Yesterday, we reported about Bruce Springsteen‘s alleged lawsuit demanding licensing fees from a Manhattan bar (Connolly’s) where a band had played a few of his songs. Now, the famous crooner wants his name off said lawsuit filed by the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers, stating on his website that he had no idea that the lawsuit was being filed in federal court, and would never have agreed to be a plaintiff had he been asked. His reps immediately demanded the removal of his name after learning about the lawsuit that claims Connolly’s Pub violated Springsteen’s copyrights by letting an unidentified band perform two of his songs for profit.
