Chef Angelo Elia, known for his Casa d’Angelo restaurants in Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton and at the Atlantis Hotel in Paradise Island, recently opened his latest venture, D’Angelo Trattoria. D’Angelo Trattoria, located in the former home of Carolina’s Coal Fired Pizza in Delray, is an Italian restaurant that boasts everything from sumptuous salads to tasty thin crust pizzas to decadent desserts.

Elia’s Friend and Executive Chef Rickie Piper is at the head of this new restaurant and his skills are already making waves in the community. All of the food is freshly prepared on the premises and then popped into the wood-burning oven. The oven, along with the cottage-like premises, adds to the charming atmosphere of this new haute spot.

Make sure to stop by and pay homage to both Elia and Piper’s culinary vision. Keep your eyes open for the pastry shop and gelateria said to be opening soon!
