Madoff’s Finance Chief Gives Up His Home

News | February 3, 2010

Bernard Madoff‘s finance chief Frank DiPascali will allow the government to sell his family’s home in Bridgewater, New Jersey, to benefit those cheated by his former boss. He and his wife have agreed to part with the property as is — appliances, electronics, and furnishings will be included in the sale. DiPascali pleaded guilty last August for helping Madoff’s multi-decade Ponzi scheme that cost so many people so many dollars. He  has since been cooperating with investigators trying to find out who knew about the Ponzi scheme before Madoff revealed it last December. Madoff is serving a 150-year sentence.
