Mark Zuckerberg Hires a Security Guard

Billionaire founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, has hired a bodyguard.

Mark Zuckerberg has never been fond of celebrity status, but when you are the creator and founder of one of the world’s largest social networking sites, it is probably just a matter of time before you need a little extra security to protect your empire (i.e. yourself).

While Zuckerberg likes to keep a low profile, he was recently spotted with security guards parked outside his modest Palo Alto colonial mansion.

Zuckerberg was recently in the news for his somewhat strange new diet for 2011 – he is only consuming what he kills. This, according to Zuckerberg, is an attempt to be fully thankful for the meat he consumes. He got the idea, he says, after some guests winced at the sight of a whole pig he roasted at his house last year. Zuckerberg said, “I don’t have an issue with anything people choose to eat, but I do think they should take responsibility and be thankful for what they eat rather than trying to ignore where it came from.” Zuckerberg has been mostly vegetarian since running Facebook, but when he does have a chance to eat meat, he makes the most of it.
