AltaMar’s Expanded ALTAMARE Debuts In February

News | January 26, 2010

AltaMar’s Claudio Giordano has partnered with chef Simon Stojanovic to open a new nearby sister venture called ALTAMARE set to debut in February at 1233 Lincoln Road.

The new location will be triple the size with a chef’s table and private dining room. Mediterranean-inspired and featuring locally caught seafood, organic meats and house made pastas, the new menu will include Fudge Farms boneless pork chop wrapped in cured fat back with roasted tomato and eggplant salad; pan seared halibut with baby fennel gratin, herb salad and salsa verde; 24-ounce Harris Ranch bone-in-ribeye with red pepper relish; and pan-seared local cobia with Swank Farms watercress salad and local heirloom tomatoes with arugula vinaigrette. Can we all say yum?

ALTAMARE will also offer full bar, wine list with over 200 labels and “creative cocktails.”

For reservations, call 305-532-3061. AltaMar will remain open until ALTAMARE’s debut.
