Michael Wurster As Chef For The New Tavern On The Green
Last July, the Court hotel closed its Icon restaurant. At this time, chef Michael Wurster was reportedly staying with W Hotels. Now, we hear that he’ll be the new man in charge at Dean Poll’s Tavern on the Green, or whatever new name it will have. “The CIA-trained chef worked under Sottha Kuhn at Le Cirque,” reported Gael Greene. “As well as for Alain Ducasse and Thomas Keller according to his bio. A locavore, of course, Wurster describes himself as a modern innovator paying homage to American classics.”
