No More Free Cars for Tiger Woods

News | January 15, 2010

Tiger Woods is no longer going to be receiving free vehicles from General Motors, according to USA Today. This news doesn’t come as a surprise, as various of his previous endorsement contracts have been canceled, such as Tag Heuer and Accenture. However, GM claims that regardless of what has happened with Woods’ personal life and his accident outside his home on November 27, their free car agreement was scheduled to end on December 31. Woods had not been a spokesperson for GM since 2008, but they had agreed to let Woods keep his Buick and Cadillac cars for an additional year. Woods’ 2009 Cadillac Escalade (shown above) will be repaired and sold.
