The End of Shanghai 1930?

Eater was quick to note today, that George Chen having his eye on a space at 101 California, and that his tentatively titled project, “DragonEye” may mean the end for Shanghai 1930, was possibly just a face-saving tactic, and that perhaps the real reason for its closure is financial. It is likely that the upscale, convenient location of the spot on Stuart Street may go off the market pretty soon.
