Norman Rose Tavern is Downtown’s Newest Hotspot

News | January 6, 2010

Norman Rose Tavern just turned one-week-old. From the Register, “The first night the Norman Rose Tavern opened in Napa during the last week of 2009, 450 hungry, thirsty people showed up. The next night another 450 or so waited on a rainy winter night for a table. Almost a thousand people in two evenings?”

The tavern is no stuffy English pub, it’s a modern space filled with feathery leather banquettes perfect for mingling. Located in the new Napa Square at First Street and Franklin, the eco-friendly spot features dramatic windows and corner patio that hypnotizes all passersby to take a look inside. Its dining bar and long, sleek traditional bar, is a great hangout spot.
