Guide Dogs for the Blind’s 33rd Annual Holiday Luncheon

On December 9th, 2009 Guide Dogs for the Blind hosted the 33rd Annual Holiday Luncheon at the Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco. 829 people attended the event and raised totaled $180,967.  Event proceeds will help socialize and train puppies, which eventually become Guide Dogs for the more than 340 blind and visually impaired students who graduate from Guide Dogs for the Blind each year.

Established in 1942, Guide Dogs for the Blind provides enhanced mobility and quality of life to people who are blind through lifetime partnerships with Guide Dogs.  This non-profit organization, headquartered in San Rafael, California, is the largest school of its kind, and has produced more than 11,000 partnerships across the United States and Canada.  Services are offered entirely free of charge.  Please visit their site for more information.
