Haute Event: Stars Take to the ROKK Vodka Blue Carpet for the GLAAD Media Awards

On Saturday, May 14, a bevy of stars gathered at San Francisco’s Marriot Marquis for the GLAAD Media Awards. GLAAD honorees Kim Cattrall and Kara Swisher took to the ROKK Vodka Blue Carpet, along with fellow celebs Mario Lopez, Glee’s Naya Rivera, Tabatha Coffey, Sara Ramirez, and many more. The evening also featured tasty ROKK Vodka cocktails and surprise celebrity appearances.

In addition to supplying the event with its cocktails, ROKK Vodka also encouraged presenters and award winners to be a part of the “I Wanna ROKK” campaign – an initiative to have each speaker incorporate the word “ROKK” into their speeches for a good cause. For each mention, ROKK Vodka pledged to donate $100 to GLAAD, and raised an amazing $7,500 at this particular event.

Celebrity attendees were also asked to sign a custom ROKK photograph created by celebrity photographer Mike Ruiz. The unique piece contains all the signatures from three awards shows – including those from Ricky Martin, Kristin Chenoweth, Russell Simmons, and more – and will be donated to GLAAD as a contribution for their 2011 OUTAuction to raise additional funds for the cause.
