Haute Event: Easter at Lucca

If your idea of Easter brunch is more conscious than conspicuous consumption or more green than gluttonous, then head to Lucca, the neighborhood spot that invites family and friends to come together every day. Not only will their Easter spread be one of the biggest around this Sunday, you’ll be able to forget about everything and enjoy some time with your family.

“Easter is a holiday that focuses on family togetherness and, in this day and age, that is extremely important for everyone,” says Cathy Pavlos, the executive chef and owner of Lucca. “We wanted to appeal to families by offering the best in quality and service, while presenting a special deal for children under 12 years old, who pay their age for their meal, meaning three-year-olds would pay $3 for their brunch, four-year-olds, $4, and so on, until the age of eleven.”

In addition to the kids pricing, the brunch will feature a full buffet with an egg and omelet station, featuring local, cage-free eggs and a deluxe carving station with certified Angus beef tri-tip and Diestel free-range turkey breast. There will also be breakfast pastries, pancakes, Italian vegetables, various salads and an entire spread of desserts (pictured above). It’ll be just $29.95 per adult, and just $34.95 if you want some bubbly to go along with your brunch.

Since 2005, Lucca has been known for using local, fresh high-quality ingredients. They’re open for quick lunches and transform at dinnertime into a European style bistro with a dynamic, ever-changing menu for dinner. A local favorite, events like Easter brunch are a great way to try the restaurant out and adds a great twist to an already great restaurant for regulars.
