Haute Event: Fashion Takes Flight with “The First Lady” Debut Collection from August Alexander

Experience a taste of the lavish “First Lady” life and join the jet set crowd this Saturday, March 19 with impeccable designs from August Alexander. Dallas designer, Courtney Russell pays homage to style icons like Elizabeth Taylor, Grace Kelly, and Jackie O with ready-to-wear glamour. The local designer has been revered by Gen Art, the same foundation that jump-started the careers of Zac Posen, Phillip Lim, and the like.

A show unlike any other, fashion and flight lovers will unite at the Jet Ten Hangar in Addison at 7 p.m. for the Jan Strimple-produced runway show for 500 of Dallas’ finest. Imbibe with your favorite Moet and Belvedere cocktails during the VIP reception and embrace the musical sounds of DJs Jen Miller and Paul Paredes private jet after party. Three tiers of tickets prices include $30 for “Coach”, $50 for “Business Class”, and $100 for “VIP First Class.” Proceeds benefit the Suicide and Crisis center and the Autism Treatment Centers of Dallas.
