Celebrating it’s celebrity rebirth, Fall Out Boy’s leading man was in town to toast the revival of his haute bar. Donning a fuzzy bear hoodie and face paint (apparently in literal support of the weekend’s big game), Pete Wentz was rocking out with his new band, the Black Cards, at the Angels and Kings reopening last night.

The original Angels and Kings in NYC has been a Chicago staple and celeb go to spot for a few years now since homeboy Wentz wanted a hangout when in town. The chain also expanded to Barcelona, but Chicago remained the most successful spot for Wentz’s local fan base. When asked why change a good thing, the team said it was too hard to pass up  the chance to align itself with a real rock legacy. Bigger and better than ever, the space now features a stage for impromptu performances and cushier, more plush decor. And just in case you were worried, the staple mug shot wall is still there.
