On the second day of SIHH, IWC Schaffhausen celebrated it’s new Portofino watch collection. With IWC being a watch brand that represents style and exquisite taste, it was only right that it had it’s own glamourous gala. With the attendance of 900 guests from around the world, the illustrious event was able to capture the carefree style of Italy in the 1950s and ’60s. Along with the guests were dear friends of IWC, including Hollywood A-listers Cate Blanchett, Kevin Spacey, Matthew Fox, Jean Reno, and Bond director Marc Forster; sporting legends including Zinédine Zidane and Boris Becker; supermodel Elle Macpherson; and singer Ronan Keating.
As the event came to a close, it ended on a high note, literally. Zurich Opera House took to the stage with a 60-strong orchestra, performing pieces reminiscent of Italy’s rich culture. The orchestra provided as the perfect accompaniment to Neil Shicoff, whose prevailing tenor voice captivated the audience.
