Gold Room Anniversary Celebration

It’s party time! The hottest club in Atlanta celebrated its one-year anniversary this past Friday night and all of Atlanta’s hottest partygoers and well-wishers were on hand to celebrate with them in style; the way that only the Gold Room can. It was the perfect over the top party that frequent visitors have come to expect and love from the Atlanta nightclub; opulence, music, spirits and the city’s most popular and beautiful people there to experience an anniversary celebration worthy of the club that everyone seems to have deep affection for. They did it up in true Gold Room style, so let’s highlight some of the most memorable occurrences of the evening.

The theme of the milestone anniversary celebration was the circus, and everyone knows how enjoyable a circus-themed event can be and the Gold Room did not disappoint on the fun level. There were acrobats, fire-breathers, dancers, clowns and contortionists that provided jaw-dropping moments of amazement as they performed seemingly impossible feats in front of the large crowd that went silent while they witnessed such great entertainment. Cocktail waitresses were also in on the theme of the night as they were appropriately dressed as sexy saloon-type attendants complete with fishnets, garter belts, corsets and feathered head adornments.

The music was also in funky abundance courtesy of sought after DJ Andre Perry who was behind the turntables spinning the hottest tunes to keep guests on the dance floor with blistered feet for the entire evening. The circus-themed extravaganza relied heavily on the color palette of red and black which tied in perfectly with the concept and the mystery of “The Greatest Show on Earth” (as it was dubbed by the owners.) Champagne and cocktails were flowing all night and everyone in attendance seemed to really have a great time and were really happy that their favorite hotspot celebrated a full year in business. I expect more anniversaries and milestones in the future for Gold Room because they provide specific elements and a level of the nightclub experience that Atlanta has not seen in a while. Congrats!
