Haute Event: Prada Launches Customizable Sunglasses
Nothing is sleeker than donning a pair of Prada sunglasses…except donning a pair of customized Prada sunglasses.
Revolutionary in style and design, Prada has recently launched the PradaPrivate collection. The new glasses, which will be available exclusively at Sunglass Hut locations nationwide, feature uniquely removable “plaques” on the sides of the frames. These plaques that include letters, numbers and a variety of symbols can be easily interchanged and customized for each individual customer.
On Thursday, Dec. 2, Prada officially launched the PradaPrivate collection with an exclusive cocktail reception at the Sunglass Hut’s flagship boutique on Fifth Avenue in New York City. Guests included Jessica Stam, Dr. Lisa Airan, Lynn Yaeger, Jennifer Creel, Peter Davis, Emma Snowden-Jones, Allison Aston, Aaron Bakalar, Sam Bolton, Kym Cantor, Ann Caruso, Marjorie Gubelmann, Julie Macklowe, Lesley Schulhof, Lindsey Wheat, Logan Scott, Amalia Keramitsis, Naeem Delbridge, Nisa Amoils, Scott Buccheit, Jessica Zinger and Stephanie Midgley.
