Living the High Life in San Fran

Low-rise loving San Francisco will finally be able to see the 60-story high luxury residential building, Millennium Tower, occupied as they obtained a Temporary Occupation Permit this summer. The ultra chic tower is located in the SoMa, or South of Market, neighborhood of the Financial District.

The southern skyline of San Francisco is in the process of being transformed as Millennium Tower is now the fourth tallest building in the area. Its prime location at 301 Mission Street provides breathtaking views of the bustling city as nearby projects have limiting height restrictions.

Developer Millennium Partners have recruited acclaimed American architect, Glenn Resclavo of Handel Architects, for the $600 million project. The full facility condominium is 645 feet high with a 12-sotry amenity building connected by a three level podium. About 7,800 square feet will be dedicated to retail and upscale dinning. There is also an atrium with five levels of underground parking containing 355 spaces.

The bottom 25 floors are called Residences, floors 26 through 60 are called Grand Residences, and the units in the 12-story tower are called City Residences. The 419 units range from 750 to 6,000 square feet and have been sold globally with prices ranging from $680,000 to $1.2 million.
