Haute Event: Omega and Tourbillon Host Texas Hold’em Fundraiser

News | November 23, 2010

On Tuesday, Nov. 16, Omega and Tourbillon hosted a special Texas Hold’em Tournament and Charity Fundraiser at the Tourbillon boutique on Wall Street. The event was held in support of The Bachmann-Strauss Dystonia & Parkinson Foundation.

For a $500 buy in, players enjoyed passed hors d’oeuvres, an open bar and the chance to play in a poker tournament hosted by professional poker champion Roy Winston.

The three-hour tournament was a huge success with 100 percent of the proceeds raised going directly toward the The Bachmann-Strauss Foundation, which is dedicated to aid in funding research and promoting awareness for dystonia and Parkinson’s disease. And although the event was for a charity, the winners didn’t leave empty-handed. The third place winner received a Tourbillon gift certificate; second place received a limited edition Casino Royale poker set; and the grand prize winner was rewarded with the special Omega Seamaster James Bond Watch.
