UR Luminous Celebrates Breast Health Advocacy at Fifth Annual Light Up the Night Gala
UR Luminous raises funds for breast health and early detection at its fifth annual Light Up the Night Gala at the Four Seasons Hotel Miami.
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, UR Luminous hosted its fifth annual Light Up the Night Gala, themed “Fire & Light,” on October 2, 2026, at the Four Seasons Hotel Miami. The black tie event welcomed nearly 300 guests for an evening of philanthropy, entertainment and breast health advocacy, with proceeds benefiting the Luminous Advocacy Project Foundation.

The Real Housewives of Miami stars Larsa Pippen, Kiki Barth and Alexia Nepola were named Pass the Light Ambassadors and received The Luminary Award for encouraging people to take an active role in their health. The three joined Romina Nabhen, creator of the Pass the Light campaign, during the presentation.

Silent and live auctions offered guests opportunities to support the Foundation while bidding on luxury experiences and collectibles. Items included trips to Italy, Portugal and Costa Rica, a South African safari, jewelry and a signed Bad Bunny record. Proceeds from the auctions supported the organization’s mission to expand access to breast health resources and early detection services.

The gala also highlighted the Luminous device, an at home breast familiarity tool designed for men and women. Using red light illumination, the device helps users observe their breast tissue between screenings and identify changes that may warrant further evaluation by a physician. It is intended as an adjunct to breast familiarity and is not a diagnostic device or a replacement for professional medical care.
The event’s broader mission reflects the work of the Luminous Advocacy Project Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on advancing breast health awareness and early detection worldwide. Through its global medical missions, the Foundation covers the cost of care for patients, including sonograms, mammograms, biopsies, transportation and, when needed, surgery. Patients are never billed for these services.
The Foundation also operates Luminous Digital Missions, through which approved partner clinics in developing countries receive donated Luminous devices and staff training. Its free Luminous Self Check App is available in eight languages, extending access to breast health education beyond traditional clinical settings.

By bringing together public figures, medical professionals, advocates and philanthropists, the fifth annual Light Up the Night Gala turned an evening of recognition and entertainment into a wider effort to support breast health awareness and make early detection resources more accessible.
