Florida’s Best Private Schools for AI Education, Ranked (2026)

Florida’s private school AI landscape doesn’t distribute evenly across the state. It concentrates — sharply, specifically, and in a geography that maps almost exactly onto the most valuable real estate markets in South Florida.

The Haute Living Florida Private School AI Curriculum Index 2026 — produced by Haute Living and the Haute Living Real Estate Network in partnership with 5WPR — ranked 43 private schools across 11 markets. Three schools scored high enough to earn Tier A status. All three sit within 70 miles of each other, running from Fort Lauderdale to Miami to West Palm Beach.

This is the second report in the series. The first, the Haute Living NYC & Los Angeles Private School AI Curriculum Index, found the same pattern in the country’s two largest luxury markets: the schools serving the most affluent families were also the schools making the most serious investments in AI education. Florida makes the same argument — in a more concentrated geography.

The Top Three Florida Schools for AI Education

#1 — Pine Crest School, Fort Lauderdale | AI Index: 92.8

Pine Crest leads Florida. The differentiators are specific: a Post-AP Computer Science course with Artificial Intelligence in the formal course catalog — not a club, not an elective, a catalog course. A named Educational Data, AI & CS Specialist on staff. The neXt Innovation Institute, which trains faculty at other schools across the state. AI has been formally integrated since 2022, and the school’s 2024–2029 Strategic Plan names an AI-driven economy as a core institutional priority. Pine Crest led or co-led five of the six scoring categories, including Innovation Labs (96.0) and AI Policy & Responsible Use (95.5).

#2 — Ransom Everglades School, Miami | AI Index: 90.2

Ransom Everglades treats AI not as a course to add, but as an operating principle to govern. The AIRE (AI at Ransom Everglades) Task Force convenes weekly across all departments — humanities, science, arts, math — making AI a school-wide conversation rather than a single department’s project. The school offers a master’s-level Advanced Machine Learning course and an AI digital-humanities seminar, and has the most structurally developed seven-year AI curriculum of any Florida school in the index. Ransom Everglades led the Cross-Disciplinary Integration category with a score of 94.0 — the dimension that matters most for students heading into law, medicine, or finance.

#3 — Oxbridge Academy, West Palm Beach | AI Index: 86.0

Oxbridge holds a distinction no other Florida school can claim: it names Artificial Intelligence as a formal Signature Program, on equal footing with its Free Enterprise Institute, Aviation program, and Cambridge Scholars track. This is not AI as a course. It is AI as an academic identity — the clearest positioning of any school in the state. Oxbridge also earned the second-highest AI Policy & Responsible Use score (91.1), reflecting serious institutional thinking around how AI is governed, not merely taught.

How Florida’s Markets Compare

Fort Lauderdale leads all 11 markets with an average AI Index of 62.2, driven by Pine Crest’s #1 ranking. Miami (60.9) and Palm Beach (61.7) follow — the only three markets in the state with Tier A schools. Jacksonville (58.7), Orlando (55.0), and Tampa (54.2) have strong STEM programs but no Tier A representation. Orlando and Tampa together account for 13 schools — more than any other two-market combination in the state — yet neither has produced a school with a named, institutional AI commitment at the level the top three have.

The Real Estate Connection

For families buying $5M–$30M homes in Palm Beach, $4M–$15M waterfront properties in Miami, and luxury estates in Fort Lauderdale, school selection is part of the relocation equation — alongside tax environment, private aviation access, and lifestyle. The Haute Living Real Estate Network tracks all three of those markets monthly as among Florida’s most active and highest-median luxury markets. The overlap between where Florida’s wealthiest families are buying and where Florida’s Tier A AI schools are located is not coincidental.

When Haute Living and 5WPR published the NYC & Los Angeles Private School AI Curriculum Index earlier this year, the finding was the same: proximity to elite AI education tracks with proximity to elite real estate. Florida’s version of that story is more compressed — three schools, one corridor, 70 miles.
