The Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel became the epicenter of Hollywood on Saturday night as Charles Finch and CHANEL hosted their 17th annual Pre-Oscar dinner, one of the most anticipated—and intimate—gatherings ahead of the Academy Awards. The guest list read like a who’s who of film, music, fashion, and culture, with attendees including Nicole Kidman, Lily-Rose Depp, Kristen Stewart, Gracie Abrams, Sarah Pidgeon, Phoebe Tonkin, Elle Fanning, Teyana Taylor, Rose Byrne and Bobby Cannavale, Jessie Buckley, Adrien Brody and Georgina Chapman, Al Pacino, Delroy Lindo, Ethan Hawke, Harvey Keitel, Javier Bardem, Jeff Goldblum, Jessica Alba, John Mulaney and Olivia Munn, Leslie Mann and Judd Apatow, Maude Apatow, Maya Rudolph, Meg Ryan, Mick Jagger, Sigourney Weaver, Sharon Stone, Stellan Skarsgård, Tom Blyth, Wagner Moura, Ava DuVernay, Danielle Brooks, Jon Batiste, Derek Blasberg, Gus Wenner, J.J. Abrams, Lauren Santo Domingo, Margaret Zhang, Nicole Avant and Ted Sarandos, Patty Jenkins, Scott Stuber and Molly Sims, and many more. The evening brought together nominees, actors, directors, producers, musicians, writers, and industry insiders for a relaxed but undeniably glamorous dinner in the Polo Lounge’s signature garden setting. The event also underscored CHANEL’s longstanding relationship with the world of cinema. Since the time of founder Gabrielle Chanel—who famously collaborated with some of the leading filmmakers and artists of her era—the house has maintained a deep connection to the film industry, supporting the creative voices that shape it. Today that commitment continues through a range of initiatives that celebrate filmmakers, champion emerging storytellers, and preserve cinema as one of the most powerful forms of artistic expression. The annual dinner, now a fixture of Oscar weekend, serves as both a celebration of the year in film and a gathering of the artists who continue to define it.

Philanthropy and Hollywood glamour converged at the Beverly Wilshire as the Women’s Cancer Research Fund hosted its flagship An Unforgettable Evening gala, bringing together a powerhouse lineup of supporters in the fight against breast cancer. The evening welcomed guests on behalf of Honorary Chairs Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks, along with Gala Chairs Jamie Tisch, Laurie Felheimer, and Mary Alice Haney Davidov, and Co-Chairs Whitney Cummings, NJ Falk, Tom Ford, William P. Lauder, Tig Notaro and Stephanie Allynne, Martin Short, and Sofía Vergara. Hosted by Cummings, the event raised funds for the Women’s Cancer Research Fund, a program of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, dedicated to advancing critical research and improving outcomes for women worldwide. The night’s most powerful moments came through the stories shared on stage. In an emotional speech, Soare reflected on how witnessing clients undergoing chemotherapy inspired her to develop products designed to help women regrow their brows during treatment, noting how deeply identity and confidence are tied to even the smallest details of appearance. Later in the evening, Jennifer Lopez made a surprise appearance to present the Courage Award to actress, producer, and director Kerry Washington, who spoke movingly about her mother’s cancer diagnosis and the resilience of families navigating the disease. The program concluded on a celebratory note as Demi Lovato took the stage with powerful performances of “Sorry Not Sorry” and “Cool for the Summer,” while guests including Kris Jenner, Kathy Hilton, Rachel Zoe, Amber Valletta, Kyle Richards, Rhea Seehorn, Maria Menounos, Sutton Stracke, and many more gathered in support of a cause that continues to transform the future of women’s cancer research.
