From intimate industry dinners to high-energy late-night blowouts, GRAMMY Weekend is as much about what happens after the awards as what unfolds on stage. Across Los Angeles, artists, executives, and tastemakers gathered for a circuit of invite-only parties that celebrated music, culture, and the moments—and connections—that define the industry’s biggest weekend.

The MusiCares Person of the Year Charity Gala was an evening defined by purpose, connection, generosity, and community—bringing people together in support of music professionals who need us now more than ever. A cornerstone of GRAMMY Week, this annual event not only honors the extraordinary legacy of its honorees but also serves as MusiCares’ largest fundraiser of the year, raising critical funds to support year-round programs, including disaster relief and essential services for music professionals in need.

With inspiring performances, heartfelt moments, and the support of this year’s incredible honoree, Mariah Carey—one of the most iconic performers of all time—the evening underscored the resilience and compassion of the music industry. In a time of deep division, it served as a powerful reminder of what’s possible when we come together, helping ensure MusiCares can continue its mission of supporting the humans behind the music.

Performers included GRAMMY Award–winning artists Carey, Foo Fighters with Taylor Momsen, Adam Lambert, Billy Porter, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, Laufey, and Jermaine Dupri, along with GRAMMY Award nominees Charlie Puth, Kesha, Maggie Rogers, and Teddy Swims. Notable attendees also included Stevie Wonder, SZA, Kim Burrell, Rita Wilson, Gayle King, Richard Marx, and Babyface.

Following the 68th Annual GRAMMY Awards®, Universal Music Group (UMG)—the world’s leading music-based entertainment company—hosted its 2026 GRAMMY After Party. The invite-only celebration served as a natural extension of GRAMMY Weekend itself, bringing together UMG’s winning and nominated artists, songwriters, and labels for an evening rooted in music, community, and celebration.

Artists, executives, creatives, and cultural tastemakers filled the room, reinforcing the After Party’s reputation as one of the most coveted gatherings of the weekend. Attendees included Shania Twain, Lola Young, KATSEYE, Suki Waterhouse, J Balvin, Paris Jackson, Moneybagg Yo, Noah Kahan, Martha Stewart, Coco Jones, BENEE, Charlie Crockett, FLO, Tucker Wetmore, Kelly Osbourne, Jack Osbourne, Sharon Osbourne, Stephen Sanchez, Scott Hoying, Chelsea Cutler, Nicky Youre, Haley Kalil, Wale, Alexander Stewart, Amyl and the Sniffers, Verdine White, Kylie Cantrall, Lisa Loeb, Mystic Marley, Manuela Pardo Taubert, Mrs. Green Apple, Neal Mohan, Em Beihold, Amber Mark, Ivan Cornejo, Yo Gotti, JYT, Maggie Kang, Chris Appelhans, Ji-Young Yoo, and Jae, along with Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami—the singing voices of HUNTR/X from K-Pop Demon Hunters—underscoring the party’s role as a defining capstone to music’s biggest weekend. UMG’s leadership was also well represented, including Sir Lucian Grainge (Chairman & CEO).

Throughout GRAMMY Weekend 2026, UMG continued to set the tone for how large-scale cultural moments can be produced with intention, creativity, and accountability. Sustainability was thoughtfully integrated into every phase of planning and execution, from design and fabrication to materials and operations. A design-forward approach centered on upcycling, reuse, and thoughtful construction transformed everyday and discarded materials into sculptural bars, stages, lighting, and décor designed to live beyond the event itself. Rentals were prioritized over new builds, natural elements were used selectively, and technology replaced physical fabrication where possible. Small but meaningful operational choices—such as rechargeable batteries, water refill stations, and composting programs—collectively made a measurable impact, reinforcing UMG’s commitment to creating culture responsibly at the industry’s most visible moments.

Janie’s Fund—the philanthropic initiative founded by music legend and humanitarian Steven Tyler—hosted its 7th Annual Jam for Janie GRAMMY Awards® Viewing Party, marking the organization’s 10th anniversary year. Presented by Live Nation and held at the iconic Hollywood Palladium, the gala brought together music, philanthropy, and purpose in celebration of music’s biggest night, while raising critical funds for Janie’s Fund’s life-changing work.

The evening included a live viewing of the 68th Annual GRAMMY Awards telecast, a live auction, and a series of powerful performances from Tyler, Matt Sorum featuring Robin Zander, Marcus King, Chris Robinson, Nuno Bettencourt, Billy Corgan, and James LoMenzo.
