Chanel is off to a strong start in 2026 as the Maison has just announced Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams as the newest muse for its beloved Coco Crush fine jewelry collection. Already a House ambassador, Abrams brings her signature blend of introspective cool and effortless poise to the line, perfectly aligning with its spirit of quiet confidence and modern elegance.

Since coming onto the scene in 2019, Gracie Abrams has become one of her generation’s most authentic voices. Her debut EP Minor (2020) and follow-up This Is What It Feels Like (2021) showcased her intimate, confessional style. Her 2023 debut album Good Riddance earned her a coveted Best New Artist nomination at the 66th Grammy Awards, while 2024’s The Secret of Us—and its deluxe edition featuring the breakout hit “That’s So True”—solidified her as a pop force.

Abrams joins Blackpink’s Jennie Kim, who has been a face of Coco Crush since 2019, in representing the collection. Her distinctive attitude and natural assurance embody the line’s essence, as Chanel describes it—a celebration of encounters, freedom, and tactile luxury.

Launched in 2015, Coco Crush draws inspiration from Chanel’s iconic quilted motif, first introduced by Gabrielle Chanel in 1955 for ultimate comfort and style. The collection reinterprets this equestrian-inspired pattern in sculpted 18K gold (beige, yellow, or white), with or without diamonds. Pieces feature clean incisions, rounded gadroons, and sensual curves that invite stacking, layering, and personal expression.

This year marks a fresh evolution: new supple designs, including flexible chokers and necklaces with sliding clasps for a second-skin feel, alongside transformable earrings and articulated cuffs. These innovations make the quilted motif even more wearable and versatile. Chanel continues to bridge contemporary culture with its heritage codes, and Gracie Abrams feels like the perfect modern muse.
