Balenciaga and Manolo Blahnik Launch a New Footwear Collaboration for Fall 2026

For Fall 2026, Balenciaga and Manolo Blahnik have partnered on a new footwear collaboration rooted in couture technique and proportion. The project centers on three shoe styles developed with Balenciaga Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli. Piccioli draws from Manolo Blahnik’s archive while continuing Balenciaga’s ongoing focus on form, construction, and the relationship between clothing and the body.

The collection includes a low-heeled mule and a slingback, each offered in two heel heights. A sharp décolleté cut defines every style, exposing the foot and emphasizing clean lines and balance.

Crafted in silk satin, the shoes come in a range of colors selected by Piccioli and feature Balenciaga grey linings. This subtle interior detail ties the collaboration back to the House’s visual language. Crystal embroidery runs across the low-cut vamp, reflecting Blahnik’s long-standing interest in embellishment and his jewelry-like approach to shoemaking, where precision matters as much as appearance.

The three styles work together as a cohesive set. Each shares the same proportions, materials, and attention to detail, allowing the designs to feel connected. Archival elements from Manolo Blahnik sit alongside references to the couture legacy of Cristóbal Balenciaga, including nods to 1960s bijoux. Together, the shoes express a shared design language shaped by craftsmanship, finish, and heritage.
